Position: Special Services Liaison
Qualifications:
- Degree in special education required.
- Experience with school or district level leadership and/or special education preferred.
- Minimum of five years of classroom teaching experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as special education liaison for Woodruff Middle School and Woodruff High School.
- Facilitate the scheduling of all meeting dates and notices.
- Oversee IEP development.
- Work with parents of special education students.
- Participate in IEP and 504 Plan meetings.
- Participate in special education meetings at the District Office.
- Work with administrators in each building to disseminate information to faculty.
- Coordinate Medicaid services for the district.
- Review IEPs for accuracy.
- Assist in ensuring that accommodations, modifications, and Behavior Intervention Plans are accurately followed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Contract Length: 200 days
