What are the responsibilities and job description for the Landscape Maintenance Foreman position at Toadflax Nursery?
Are you organized? Can you follow directions, motivate others, and finish what you start? Toadflax Nursery is looking for a positive, hardworking, landscape foreman to join our team.
Summary: The Landscape Maintenance Foreman will manage landscape maintenance crews and communicate with management, homeowners, and employees. Landscape maintenance crews handle mowing, pruning, planting, raking, edging, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and train employees on proper landscape care.
- Supervise the use of Toadflax equipment and ensure that all equipment is handled properly and maintained.
- Communicate with management to keep them informed on the properties, employees, areas of improvement, etc.
- Ensure staff observe safety guidelines and protocols.
- Completing various administrative duties including paperwork to track tasks/employee time for billing purposes.
- Mowing, mulching, edging, raking, pruning, planting and more.
- Communicate with homeowners to set up maintenance schedules/alert homeowners to when the crews will be working at their residence.
Qualifications: You must take pride in your work and be detail-oriented. You must be reliable and able to pass a drug trust upon employment. Foremen must have clean driving record, CDL is preferred.
