What are the responsibilities and job description for the Baker position at TOAST, LLC?
Toast, Llc in Gretna, LA is looking for a head baker to join our team. We are located on 1711 Hancock Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. If you would like to do bread deliveries, position will come with a company car. Bread needs to be made while the restaurant is closed so late night and/or early mornings are required.
Responsibilities

*Weigh and measure ingredients *Mix and blend caramel sauce, lemon curd, and chocolate sauce *Make biscuits *Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed *Make brioche, multigrain, and sourdough *Prepare and maintain inventory *Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment
Qualifications

*Attention to detail in all aspects of baking *Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal *Experience as a Baker a plus

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Wednesdays and Fridays. Compensation is $18.00 - $22.00/hour.
About TOAST, LLC: Toast is a neighborhood bakery where you can sit at the breakfast bar while sipping a cafe au lait and enjoying an omelette or you can grab a coffee and cinnamon roll on your way to work. All breads, jams, custards, and curds are made in house daily.
