What are the responsibilities and job description for the Head Baker position at TOAST, LLC?
Toast Gretna, LA is looking for a head baker to join our team. We are located on 1711 Hancock Street. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, punctual, and hard-working. If you would like to do bread deliveries, position will come with a company car. Bread needs to be made while the restaurant is closed so lafternoon/evening OR evening/early morning. LOTS of heavy lifting, must be able to lift 50 lbs.
Responsibilities

*Weigh and measure ingredients *Mix and blend caramel sauce, lemon curd, and chocolate sauce *Make biscuits *Set oven temperatures and monitor or modify as needed *Make brioche, multigrain, and sourdough *Prepare and maintain inventory, communicate with store managers on par levels *Clean and sanitize workstation and equipment *Deliver bread to 3 locations
Qualifications

*Attention to detail in all aspects of baking *Dedicated to working as a team towards one goal *Experience as a Baker a plus

Available shifts and compensation: Available shifts all days except Wednesdays and Fridays. Compensation is $22.00 - $26.00/hour.
