As part of the Developer Relations team, the Custom Integration Support Specialist will manage support requests from customers as they build and use custom integrations on the Toast Developer Platform. You’ll monitor different channels through which customers may contact Toast for help, including public forums and private support tickets, and ensure that customers get the answers they need in a timely manner. You’ll work closely with the Developer Advocates on the team to identify common trouble areas for customers using custom integrations and help create documentation and tooling to head those trouble areas off.
This position can either be remote, onsite in one of our offices, or a hybrid of both, based in the USA.

About this roll* (Responsibilities)
As a Custom Integration Support Specialist, you will:
- Serve as the primary technical resource for external customers building and using custom integrations made with the Toast platform
- Provide developers with detailed feedback on bugs, compliance issues, and how to align with development best practices
- Perform troubleshooting of integration issues by becoming proficient in Toast systems and tools such as Splunk and Postman
- Contribute to the resources (tools, documentation, processes) necessary to ensure a delightful developer experience and one that ensures developer success
- Relentlessly pursue customer satisfaction, every interaction is an opportunity to delight our customers
- Continuously refine and improve our support processes and practices
- 2 years experience in Customer/Technical Support or a closely related field
- Highly analytical and can quickly identify the root cause of issues by digging through API logs and source code.
- Thorough understanding of REST APIs and of how API integrations are built and used.
- Skilled at prioritizing and organizing multiple streams of work and can independently manage complex technical projects within a dynamic environment
- Strong communicator and collaborator
- Motivated by customer and partner delight
