The President / COO will be pivotal in shaping Toastique’s strategic direction, operational excellence, franchisee success, and team engagement. In three years, you will help shape the strategy for growing the company 3X. Reporting to the CEO, this executive will oversee strategic planning, franchisee operations, leadership development, and financial oversight, ensuring alignment with company goals and fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and collaboration.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership and Planning
Lead the development and execution of strategic plans to drive organizational growth, align resources, and achieve long-term goals.
Serve as the company's integrator by meeting company and department scorecard metrics, driving alignment across the organization, and leading in goal setting during quarterly and annual planning.
Facilitate weekly Leadership meetings to ensure effective communication, goal tracking, and team alignment.
Lead the preparation and delivery of State of the Company meeting messages and updates.
Collaborate with the executive team to drive results through others by influencing, gaining alignment, and effectively facilitating cross-functional activity
Strategically analyze and recommend how big ideas can be implemented within organizational priorities.
Ensure adherence to the company's core processes and standards of excellence while aligning the team to achieve its annual goals.
Lead the company's business intelligence meetings, ensuring that insights, recommendations, and action items are strategic and drive improved decision-making and planning.
Establish and promote adherence to nimble project management practices, ensuring leaders and teams hold themselves accountable to these standards to reduce inefficiencies and improve workflows.
Oversee implementation and adoption of KPIs and dashboards to monitor progress and improve.
Act as an executive sponsor for key initiatives, ensuring resource engagement and accountability.
Align and refine Leadership Team roles and accountability to optimize daily operations, enable strategic, forward-thinking planning and decision-making, and drive strategic hiring planning to support organizational growth and priorities.
Leadership and Team Development
Collaborate with the Executive Team to develop and execute :
People Development strategy to nurture and build a high-performing Leadership Team, focusing on retention, system growth, and continuous improvement of franchisee success.
To drive organizational growth, elevate existing practices by designing and implementing strategic hiring plans and talent evaluations.
Foster a growth mindset and a culture of innovation by empowering teams to align their work with the company's vision and create continuous improvement.
Drive and oversee change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions, foster employee engagement, nurture franchisee engagement, and achieve organizational goals.
Provide ongoing analysis of results vs plan to ensure that interdepartmental teams stay on track with executing strategic plan objectives.
Defines the path to resolution, coordinates and integrates efforts across multiple projects with varying degrees of complexity, definition, and risk
Financial Oversight and Growth
Lead initiatives to enhance franchisee profitability and drive sustainable growth that aligns with long-term strategic goals.
Partner with the CFO to oversee revenue forecasting, budget development, and financial management, implementing data-driven strategies to optimize financial performance across the entire franchise system and support the organization's vision of maximizing operational and market success.
Lead the Marketing, Sales, and Franchisee Support team, prioritizing the achievement of 2025 business targets, driving alignment to overall goals, and ensuring the right franchisee partners are brought into the Toastique family.
Partner with the CEO and CFO to achieve and retain a competitive position in the market
Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a dynamic leader with a proven track record of leading Operations in a franchise organization, ideally in a hypergrowth environment. The ideal candidate is an innovative leader who brings strong strategic thinking, a data-driven mentality, and a focus on innovation to advance the growth and goals of the company. This person is a collaborative culture builder who is focused on bringing out the best in both people and teams while ensuring strong performance, ideally with the following qualifications :
Must have at least 5 years experience working at the senior and / or executive level in a franchise environment, ideally in an operations capacity.
Must have the ability to communicate high-level business concepts and financial impact through effective written and oral communication skills.
Extensive knowledge is driving franchisee success, and a proven track record for increasing AUV and franchisee engagement
Experience in the Restaurant Industry will be highly considered.
Salary Range and Location
Salary : $300k - $500k DOE
Location : This is an in-person / hybrid position. Candidates must live within the DC Metro Area, NOVA, or be willing to commute up to 3 times a week.
