Job Description Highlights:
Reports To: Youth Programs Manager
Location: Denver, CO
Compensation: $20 Hourly (Plus potential tips)
Expected hours: 20 – 40 per week. (This is a part time role that is not benefits eligible)
Applicants must be at least 19 years of age due to licensing requirements
Role Scope and Requirements:
The Youth Programs Assistant is a full-time position that is responsible for leading the daily coaching operations of the Youth Programs Department with company policies and the Youth Programs Manager’s direction. Their main responsibilities will be, but are not limited to:
- Maintain the day-to-day field operations in such a manner that the customers, their families, and guests enjoy a safe and fun environment
- Coach a minimum of 20-25 hours per week
- Maintain supervision of camps, birthday parties, after school club, fun zone and field trips, the coaches and staff and their own classes & sessions
- When a camp is scheduled the Youth Program Assistant will be scheduled to work
- Assist the Youth Programs Manager in making sure all equipment, materials and supplies are ready for upcoming camps, birthday parties, after school clubs and field trips
- This position will be a contact person for all parents and staff on the field where the Youth Programs Manager is not present
- Equipment preparation will be a minimum of 3-5 hours per week - This includes going offsite to obtain items if and where needed
- Assist with maintaining and cleaning of all equipment
- Help recruit, schedule and organize all camps, birthday parties, after school clubs & field trip bookings for the facility
- Must be onsite when field trips are scheduled
- Meet frequently with the Youth Programs Manager to update programs, schedules etc.
- Can work off site to recruit field trips after agreement from the Youth Programs Manager
- Perform other duties required of management staff such as helping with events such as Kids Fest, Member Appreciation Parties and CrossFit Competitions
- Weekend and Evening availability essential
