Job Description: Creative Piano Teacher – Toccata Method®
Are you passionate about music and inspiring students to develop a lifelong love of piano? We are seeking a creative piano teacher to join our team and teach using the Toccata Method®, a flexible and engaging approach that makes learning piano fun and interactive.
Responsibilities:
- Teach piano lessons to students of various ages and skill levels using the Toccata Method®.
- Incorporate a range of musical activities, including technique, sight reading, ear training, theory, and games, into lessons to keep students motivated and engaged.
- Adapt lessons to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student.
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that builds confidence and creativity in students.
- Communicate with parents about student progress and goals.
- Assist with student recitals and other performance opportunities.
Qualifications:
- Ability to play piano proficiently and demonstrate musical concepts.
- Creativity, enthusiasm, and a strong desire to make learning music fun for students.
- Strong communication skills and patience with students of all abilities.
- Willingness to learn and implement the Toccata Method® (training provided).
