We are a well-established and successful commercial electrical subcontractor with a reputation for excellence is seeking a qualified, self-motivated CAD / BIM Designer / Drafter Manager.

Job Description :

• Ability to prepare electrical, fire alarm, and lighting plans, diagrams, & schedules for a variety of projects.
• Ability to use AutoCAD and Revit to prepare and revise drawings.
• Ability to develop Revit MEP models and contract drawings
• Ability to read and interpret MEP drawings.
• Ability to maintain project drawings files including file layering, drawing library, and documentation.
• Ability to work with other subcontractors for coordination of equipment and manipulate the drawings in AutoCAD and Revit.
• Ability to work with project managers and technical design teams to prepare drawings.
• Builds and maintains good working relationships with all teams. Must be team-oriented and have a positive attitude towards all.
• Strong communication skills and well-organized with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and pay close attention to detail in a fast paced, deadline driven environment.
• A minimum of 1-2 years of related industry experience with AutoCAD and Revit skills.
• Completion of certificate program and familiarity of 3D drawing preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel.
• BIM experience required.
