Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technician to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with autism and other disabilities, providing essential support and care to enhance their quality of life. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of behavioral health and demonstrate a commitment to patient care. This position requires patience, empathy, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of clinical behavior supervisors.
- Collect performance data as needed for ongoing evaluation of treatment effectiveness.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation related to patient care.
- Assist in the diagnostic evaluation process by providing relevant observations and insights.
- Support clients in learning daily activities, promoting independence and skill development.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for patients.
- Model ABA strategies and provide support to families regarding behavioral strategies and interventions.
Qualifications
- Experience working with individuals with autism or other disabilities is preferred.
- Ability to collect and document daily data effectively.
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and practices is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate approach towards patient care, demonstrating patience and understanding in all interactions.
- Certification or training related to behavior analysis or similar fields is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $24.50 per hour
