Minnesota teens and adults need your help learning how to drive safely. You will help them by providing classroom and Behind-the-Wheel instruction. We provide company vehicles, lesson plans, classroom materials, and training. You provide your guidance and knowledge.
Licensing & Training
We help you though the process of becoming licensed as an instructor, step by step.

Classroom Instruction
You will be provided with a teaching kit that contains a lesson plan, supplies, and all needed materials.
- Review the Minnesota Drivers Manual.
- Lead discussion related to safe driving.
- Administer tests and quizzes.
- Present drivers education videos.
- Lead fun learning activities and games.
- Issue certificate of completion (blue card) for students who complete the class.
Behind-the-Wheel Instruction
You will ride with students in a company owned vehicle that is equipped with an instructor brake and other safety equipment.
- Provide instruction and encourage safe driving skills.
- Observe students as they drive and provide helpful feedback on their skills.
- Complete the driver evaluation sheet with each drive session.
- Issue certificate of completion (white card) for students who complete their required instruction.
Entry Level Position
No experience as a driver’s education instructor is required. We will help you get licensed as an instructor and provide all training necessary for your success.
Minnesota Department of Public Safety Job Requirements
- Minimum of a High School Diploma, or equivalent.
- Must be 21 years of age or older.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have been a valid licensed driver for three years in Minnesota or other U.S. state.
- Must be able to speak and hear well enough to conduct a normal conversation at a distance of five feet, with or without a hearing aid.
