Landscape Management Trainee

Our Landscape Management Trainee is a full-time position, eligible for overtime. We offer a weekly pay between $700-$800 weekly, health benefits, 401k, and paid time off. We are looking for growth-minded individuals to help us take our team to the next level!

Requirements for the Landscape Management Trainee position at Tode’ Landscape Contractors:

• A bachelor’s/associates degree in horticulture, landscape architecture, landscape construction or a related field; current final year students actively enrolled in horticulture, landscape architecture, landscape construction or related programs would be considered or 1 years of professional landscaping experience which may include entry-level work as a lawn technician, maintenance technician, crew member, or hardscape/snow removal experience;
• A willingness to learn from the ground up;
• An eagerness to learn new techniques;
• Good listening skills with the ability to follow direction;
• Willingness to cultivate and build leadership skills;
• A go-getter attitude; someone who is willing to learn the ropes of every aspect of the company including working with the crews and teams, getting their hands dirty, running equipment, and putting in the occasional Saturday or weekend to get the job done

A day in the life of a Landscape Management Trainee at Tode’ Landscape Contractors Inc:

• Shadowing the owner and learning every aspect of the business from the ground up;
• Managing various aspects of landscape projects, including sometimes doing the installation and maintenance on projects;
• Working alongside the teams in every department, demonstrating the ability to learn various techniques and approaches to landscaping;
• Utilizing landscape equipment and working in a safe manner;
• Demonstrating leadership values and behaviors while working alongside the team;
• Learning our systems, including LMN, generating reports and spreadsheets, and understanding the Profit and Loss statements and various business management aspects that come with running a successful landscape business;
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $700.00 - $800.00 per week
