THE POSITION
Toebe Construction is seeking an Accounting Associate to join our team and assist in managing the financials for various construction projects across Michigan. This role is multi-dimensional, fast-paced, and requires a high degree of accuracy and efficiency while working on multiple projects at a time. The Accounting Associate will be responsible for helping to process and track costs, budgets, invoices, monthly billings, along with other tasks that support the accounting department and contribute to the overall success of the company.
EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- An Associate’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relative work experience.
- At least 3 years of Construction Accounting experience is required.
- Previous experience in Construction is required, with experience in road construction and specialty subcontracting highly preferred.
- Have a unique ability to dive into details but also have excellent interpersonal communication skills.
