Your Key Responsibilities:
- Orchestrate all stages of the construction process, focusing on quality control, site safety, and team leadership.
- Empower and mentor your team, providing them with feedback and coaching to reach their full potential.
- Craft a comprehensive 4-week project schedule, with the flexibility to adapt as needed.
- Coordinate subcontractor meetings and communications to ensure seamless collaboration.
- Proactively identify and tackle challenges on-site, ensuring smooth construction flow.
- Ensure all safety, compliance, and quality regulations are upheld on the job site.
- Regularly update clients and project managers on progress, milestones, and challenges.
- Manage subcontractor efforts to optimize project outcomes.
- Plan and schedule inspections while securing necessary permits.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site for everyone involved.
To be part of our dynamic team, you should meet the following requirements:
- 5-7 years of hands-on experience managing multi-family construction projects (ground-up, podium style) with a proven track record of success.
- Strong understanding of various construction trades, including MEP, structural details, and site work/utilities.
- Adept at reading and interpreting project plans and specifications, with the ability to conduct thorough plan reviews.
- Deep understanding of construction operations and best practices.
- 3-5 years in a supervisory role where you've coached and grown your team.
- Excellent project management and communication skills, able to liaise with multiple stakeholders effectively.
- OSHA 30 certification for safe job site management.
- In-depth knowledge of local construction standards for safety, quality, and health.
- Proficient in MS Office and Procore software for seamless project management.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills, ensuring efficiency in all tasks.
