About the Role
Tofu is looking for its first growth marketing hire—someone highly motivated, high output, and high intelligence who will define, build, and execute the marketing engine that will drive our next phase of growth. As the first marketing hire, you will have broad ownership and will influence many key GTM decisions, including funnel strategy, channel selection, messaging, positioning, campaign design, and budget. You’ll develop repeatable processes, test new ideas, work cross-functionally with a stellar team, and help shape Tofu’s brand in the marketplace.
This role will give you high levels of autonomy, the ability to partner closely with product, sales, and customer success, and the chance to build a marketing function from the ground up in the cutting-edge generative AI space. Our team is kind, talented, humble, and fast-moving. We are intensely focused on building an incredible product while maintaining balance and perspective. Most of our team is based in the Bay Area and works from our office 3 days a week. We are looking for someone who is excited to join us in-person for maximum collaboration and speed.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a full-funnel demand generation strategy to drive new leads, MQLs, and pipeline growth.
- Design and iterate on multi-channel campaigns (email, paid media, webinars, content syndication, events, etc.) to attract and engage our ICP.
- Work closely with the founding team and sales to refine ICP definitions, messaging, and positioning, ensuring strong alignment between marketing and sales.
- Build scalable, repeatable processes to measure campaign success, track ROI, and inform future investment decisions.
- Leverage Tofu’s own platform to create personalized campaigns that demonstrate the product’s value and set the tone for our marketing innovation.
- Develop a content calendar and partner with product and customer success teams to produce compelling case studies, whitepapers, and thought leadership materials.
- Own the marketing tech stack and data integrity, ensuring the infrastructure supports efficient lead flow, attribution, and reporting.
- Continuously experiment, analyze, and iterate. Identify what’s working and optimize, and know when to pivot strategies that aren’t delivering.
- Bring creative energy and a test-and-learn mindset to an emerging category, helping Tofu stand out in a crowded market.
