We are seeking a shift supervisor to oversee staff and program operations, ensuring compliance with agency and state regulations while fostering a positive and supportive environment. In this role, you will be responsible for staff supervision, scheduling, training, and performance management, playing a key role in the success of our programs. Job Responsibilities:
- Responsible for oversight of staff including assigning work, scheduling shifts, and monitoring attendance, conducts supervision meetings. Ensures staff complies with agency and state rules and regulations.
- Conduct trainings as needed. Assist with performance evaluations and corrective counseling.
- Responsible for oversight of program including day to day operations, developing meeting agendas, ensuring all logs are completed accurately and timely, ensures ratios are met and identifies areas of improvement.
- Ensures all fire drills are completed.
- Assists with creation of intake packets; admits and orients new youth to program.
- Oversees supervision of youth including debriefing with youth after crisis and coordinating appointments, Ensures daily activities are completed including meal preparation. Serves as a backup for staff and provides direct care to youth as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Job requirements:
- Minimum of Associates degree in human service required; Bachelor's preferred.
- In lieu of degree, a minimum of 5 years working in detention/residential facility may be considered.
- Experience working with at risk youth in detention/residential facility preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to form therapeutic relationships with youth including providing a safe and caring environment.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with extreme discretion.
- Demonstrated computer literacy including but not limited to MS Office suite.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule(rotating schedule).
- Must possess a valid driver's license. Limited travel is required.
- TCI, First Aid/CPR certifications required.
- Ability to work with an economically and culturally diverse population.
