The Tokai Rika Group, a Japanese Tier 1 Automotive Supplier, is looking for a Quality Resident Engineer that is ready to learn. Apply solid knowledge of problems solving techniques and root cause analysis to resolve moderately complex issues. Familiar with a variety of problem solving/quality tools, and act as point of contact for all Customers. \n- Investigate, resolve and document all quality issues from the customer
- Work with customer’s quality related departments (QE, Inspection, Line Associates, and Management
- Create technical reports
- Report actions and countermeasures taken to correct quality problems
- Resolve quality problems at customer facilities as necessary
- Consult with the customer on operational procedures
- Act as liaison between TRAM, Inc., plant locations and customer
- Strengthen and establish relationships with the customer
- Assist TRAM Quality Manager in development of special
- Accurately document all meetings, schedules & attendance reporting
- Potential night shifts during product launches: 7PM-4AM
- Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the Mexico without the need for visa sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be flexible with schedule and able to work different shifts
- Associates Degree in engineering technical field related to electrical, mechanical, quality, manufacturing, etc.
- 2 years experience w/ Associate's degree OR 0 yrs experience w/ Bachelor's degree.
- Strong communication skills: technical, verbal, and written
- Solid spoken and written Spanish and English ability
- Ability to train quickly with new products/commodities
- Strong analytical and logical problem solving skills
- Basic knowledge of manufacturing technologies & systems
- Basic knowledge of production equipment & machinery
- Knowledge of quality test protocols, materials, and procedures
- Demonstrated use of engineering statistics, must be able to read specs & drawings
- Ability to work with multi-cultural environment and widely diverse levels of associates
