Job Summary
Primary duties and responsibilities :
- Gain understanding and participate in the daily, monthly and quarterly functionality of the Tax Department under the supervision of professional staff
- Prepare the tax filings for the following tax types : corporate and insurance federal, state, and local; sales and use; personal property tax filing
- Perform tax research and analyze tax updates
- Assist in the preparation of Form 1099 MISC
- Contribute to special projects as needed
