Job Summary :
The Head of Global Fusion Center US (GFC) Operations and Engineering is an important leadership role in continuing the build out of a world-class cyber fusion center. You will take ownership in hiring expert talent, designing, implementing, governing, and operating security operational services supporting the insurance and financial services companies of Tokio Marine Group around the world. The Head of the GFC is responsible for setting the blueprint in integrating intelligence, threat detection, vulnerability data and proactive defense strategies as well as designing and performing response capabilities to protect Tokio Marine and its Group Companies from advanced cyber threats. As a key member of the leadership team, working closely with the existing Red Team / CTI and Vulnerability management / pen testing / vCiso leaders, you will partner closely in leveraging existing expertise in further refining the operational and engineering components of the GFC. The GFC US working in close collaboration with the GFC Japan will take primary responsibility for the Americas Group Companies and areas of the Middle East, and will take secondary responsibility for the APAC region in a “follow-the-sun” operations model. The Head of GFC-US will be an important member of the Global Fusion Center Leadership team reporting to the SVP, Global Head Cyber Defense.
Essential Job Functions :
- Lead the build-out of an advanced US fusion center engineering and operations team and associated components designed to provide services to individual group companies in the areas of detection of anomalies and predicting attack patterns leveraging expertise in data analytics and associated cyber platforms
- Lead security incident and data breach investigations and handle post-incident reporting in urgent or critical situations with the goal of establishing a foundation for future automation
- Develop proactive roadmaps for the fusion center including, set objectives, and taking initiative to further automate and orchestrate using various industry leading and startup technology approaches to improve Cyber defense capabilities and overall maturity at Tokio Marine
- Build a global team that drives identification and improve advanced threat detection capabilities and SOAR playbooks
- Support cross-team initiatives in alignment with GFC-Japan and GFC -US to develop metrics for reporting purposes and driving specific actions, including measuring and improving effectiveness and performance and determining detective control effectiveness and coverage
- Direct, motivate, develop, and manage performance of the Team
- Establish and build strong working relations and partnerships with global Business Units and Senior Management
- Comply with proper internal controls as necessary to conduct job functions and / or carry out responsibilities and / or administrative activities at the Company
- Perform special projects and other duties as may be assigned
