About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to join our team at Tokio Marine North America Services. As a key member of our technology group, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing business and technical solutions using Guidewire software.
Your primary focus will be on leading/participating in the analysis, design, and technical implementation of functional enhancements for the Guidewire product suite. You will work closely with application developers, business analysts, project managers, and enterprise architects to analyze requirements, determine design decisions, and provide enterprise business solutions.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and enforcing SDLC artifacts, processes, and departmental standards related to implementation. Additionally, you will ensure implementation accuracy through unit testing and assist with QA and user acceptance testing.
A strong understanding of Object-Oriented Analysis and Design (OOAD) principles, SQL, and knowledge of approaches, tools, techniques for recognizing, anticipating, and resolving organizational, operational, or process problems is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead/participate in the analysis, design, and technical implementation of functional enhancements for the Guidewire product suite
- Develop, maintain, and enforce SDLC artifacts, processes, and departmental standards related to implementation
- Ensure implementation accuracy through unit testing and assist with QA and user acceptance testing
- Communicate technical recommendations back to business analysts and end users
