What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Engineer II position at Tokyo Electron US?
TEL designs and manufactures complex capital equipment for the semiconductor industry. Our equipment integrates a wide variety of wafer processing technologies from wet to vacuum; and all the support systems to make them run: Electrical power systems, mechanical utilities, PLC controls, vacuum technology, custom design robotics and mechanisms, high voltage, RF generators, complex motion control, process chemical delivery and more.
- Lead customer complaint issue resolution process
- Evaluates incoming complaint information and maintains the record
- Performs follow up activities to obtain additional information.
- Engage with subject matter experts to create and refine failure analysis reports.
- Use and maintain complaint tracking systems, provide analysis and trending data all on customer complaints
- Identify and document appropriate complaint categories to assure trend accuracy within the complaint database
- Engage with cross-functional teams to drive complaint resolution.
- Monitor, analyze and report of key operational quality metrics such as Startup Issues, Failure Analysis response time and Warranty Cost,
- Utilize systemic methodology to identify, prioritize customer identified product issues and concerns
- Update customers in a timely manner regarding the status of open complaints
- Train and help guide the stakeholder teams in utilizing problem solving methodologies to resolve quality issues
- Maintain list of customer related issues and drive for improvements
- Support Continuous Improvement activities throughout the organization
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of related experience; or master’s degree with 6 months professional level experience; or associate’s degree with 6 years of related experience; or 10 years of experience in lieu of degree. High school diploma or equivalent required.
