General Summary:
Perform routine mammogram and diagnostic radiography procedures
Works under the supervision of the Lead Mammography Technologist
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
1. Perform routine mammogram procedures
2. Perform needle location procedure for breast biopsy
3. Perform Stereotactic breast examination
4. Perform routine Radiographic
5. Maintain accurate ACR records
6. Monitor and maintain equipment.
7. Request Supplies
8. Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist with an additional license in Mammography
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
- BLS/CPR trained.
- Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.
Education:
- Certificate or associates degree with an additional license in Mammography
Preferred:
- At least one year as a Mammographer.
