Toledo Clinic's Dermatology Office, located in Wauseon Ohio, is seeking a full-time Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA)or LPN. This position will work M-Th, 7:30a - 4:30p.
Toledo Clinic is offering a $2,000 Sign-On Bonus to qualified Medical Assistants and Certified Patient Care Techs. Sign-On Bonuses are payable within 30 days of hire to employees that have active and verified credentials (ex: RMA/CMA/CCMA/CPCT/A). For candidates that have not yet obtained or need to renew their credential, the Sign-On Bonus is payable once the credential is obtained and verified. After one year of service, qualified Medical Assistants/Certified Patient Care Techs will be eligible for an additional $2,000 Retention Bonus.
General Summary:
Assist radiation therapist with prepping the treatment room for Superficial Radiation Therapy (SRT) treatments and escorting patients to the treatment room.
Works under the supervision of the Office Manager
Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
Example of Essential Duties:
1) Escorting patients to treatment room.
2) Preparing the treatment room.
3) Preparing patient for Drs.
4) Order and maintain exam room supplies
5) Traveling between practice offices to cover staffing needs.
6) Other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
Required:
- Excellent interpersonal skills required.
- Consistently arrives at work, in professional attire, on time and completes all tasks within established time frame.
- Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists co-workers as needed.
- Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
- Credentialed as a Medical Assistant (i.e.: CMA or RMA) or Licensed LPN in Ohio.
- Medicare Exclusion List
- Adheres to clinic’s policies and procedures.
Education:
-Medical Assisting degree or diploma from an accredited school required.
-RMA/CMA/CCMA credential required or LPN licensure in OH.
Preferred:
- Clinical experience in a medical office preferred.
