Role Summary
This role works within the promotions, game presentation and operations department. The role is part time and assists the Toledo Walleye by providing a unique fan experience, while driviing the Fanboni, at the Huntington Center. The Fanboni Driver is part of the Fan Entertainment team which is the “face of the franchise” and oftentimes are the common faces that our fans will see at games and other events. Essential Responsibilities
Role Summary

Essential Responsibilities
- Provide high energy to engage with fans to provide FANatical experiences.
- Comfortable in front of fans and the ability to engage the crowd and those riding the Fanboni.
- Drive the Fanboni vehicle during pregame and both intermissions for home Toledo Walleye Hockey Games.
- Drive the Fanboni in outside appearances such as parades, etc.
- Must be able to assume a positive and active role at the rink, even while working under potentially stressful conditions.
- Ability to manage fans and make sound decisions in order to ensure the safety and well-being of participants, facilities and equipment.
- Interact and communicate with collogues and fans during their Fanboni experience.
- Be able to follow safety guidelines and exercise good judgement in all aspects of responsibility.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Experience
- Must be 18 years or older.
- Must have valid driver's license.
Skills and Competencies
- Approaches and engages the community in a professional and friendly manner.

- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and outgoing personality.
- Energetic attitude towards coworkers and fans.
- Punctuality for all events and game days.

Working Environment
- Occasionally lifting parts and props needed, weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend etc for the duration of the shift.
- Game days will be in the arena (cool temperature). Special events may be outside in all types of weather conditions.
- Ability to work flexible schedule including days, nights, weekend and holidays.
- Hockey season ranging from October-June.
