What are the responsibilities and job description for the Product Coordinator position at Toledo Northwestern Ohio Food Bank?
The Product Coordinator ensures product is sorted, boxed and rotated. The position is scheduled between 7:30am to 2:00pm Monday thru Friday with some Saturdays between 8:30am and 12:30pm.
Principal Duties And Responsibilities:
-Organize/stage all incoming product and have sorted on a first in, first out basis
-Train all volunteers on the reclamation process.
-Ensure all items are sorted properly and timely
-Ensure product is sorted and boxed by category
-Ensure all pallets are tagged and staged correctly
-Ensure all sorting and staging areas are clean and organized
-Ensure that all non-compliant items are segregated and labeled
-Ensure that work area is clean and organized
-Complete daily cleaning schedule
-Address any issues or concerns with product and work area
-Request supplies as needed
-Participates in monthly physical inventory count.
-Maintains daily paperwork in accordance with Toledo NWO Food Bank, Feeding America, AIB International, State and Federal guidelines
Successful candidate should have the following knowledge, skills and abilities:
-High School Diploma or equivalent
-Previous warehouse experience
-Pallet jack experience (manual and electric)
-Previous supervisory or team leader experience
-Able to lift 40 pounds
-Stand continuously
-Strong verbal communication skills
-Strong organizational skills
-Attention to detail
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
