What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at Toledo Public Schools?
Bus Driver
Driver in Training - $10.45 / hr (usually 4-6 weeks)
Probationary Rate, after obtaining CDL with endorsements - $19.59 (90 working days)
Completion of probation - starts at $21.20
The district will train applicants to obtain a Class B CDL with School Bus Passenger endorsement AND applicants are paid during training
Qualifications :
- Must possess valid driver license
- Ability to interact effectively with children and adults in the performance of the job duties
- Display good physical and mental health to meet job requirements
- Must have knowledge of Board of Education Pupil Transportation Policies
- Professional in appearance and demeanor
- Be able to operate two-way radio
