Education Administrative Assistant (Part- Time)

Our Education department is currently seeking a Part- Time, Administrative Assistant who is passionate about learning new things and giving our guests the best possible experience.
This position is responsible for providing administration support and assistance to the Education Department, especially responding to phone and email inquiries, receiving and processing program registrations and processing payments. In addition, they will collaborate with department personnel to coordinate programing with other Zoo departments and scheduling.
This position reports to the Director of Education, is non-exempt under the Fair Labor Standards Act and requires 18-20 hours per scheduled workweek.
Minimum Training & Experience
- Vocational / technical school training in Secretarial Science and one to two years of experience in secretarial science, or any equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must be 18 years of age.
- Prefer to have a valid driver's license
- The Toledo Zoo is a drug-free workplace, including marijuana.
