Part Time Security Officer

Responsibilities
A Toledo Zoo Security Officer will effectively carry out safety and security policies that provide for the protection of guests, employees, animal collection, and Zoo assets. Duties will include, but are not limited to monitoring and reporting the following: air & water temperatures, water filtration systems, intrusion detection, fire suppression, security surveillance, and access control system.
Qualifications
Must be able to work independently and in a team setting. Must possess strong communication and customer service skills. Bike patrol, mobile patrol, and dispatch opportunities. Candidates with law enforcement, and fire science background with a minimum of one-year college preferred. Available to work weekends, holidays, and special events. Candidates must be physically able to walk for extended periods and shall be at least 18 years of age.
