What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities and Equipment Maintenance position at Tolerance Tool, LLC?
Tolerance Tool, LLC is an innovative mold manufacturing company committed to meeting the elevated demands of today’s molding industry. We design and manufacture complex, bridge & multi-cavity high volume production thermoplastic and liquid silicone injection mold tooling for discriminating customers. We also design and manufacture micro molds, multi-shot rotational molds, inserts & over-molds. We stress the importance of our staff with a focus on career development, team spirit, and transparency. We are currently seeking a Facilities Maintenance Professional that is self-motivated and committed to meeting the challenges of today’s fast paced Advanced Mold Manufacturing.
Facilities Maintenance Tasks to Include:
Compressed air delivery maintenance: Pressure and humidity monitoring, leak checks, airline replacement, nozzle pressure safety, compressor oil level, Compressor room temp monitoring.
Industrial Vacuum system maintenance and cleaning.
Room air temp and humidity monitoring, AC filter change, seasonal equipment adjustments.
Maintain inventory of shop supplies, coolants, oils, cleaning supplies,
Load vending and pop machines.
Trouble shoot, repair, or modify low level electrical plumbing and AC issues.
Schedule outside services (electrician, plumbing, AC) as needed.
Shipping receiving: Includes loading and unloading trucks with forklift, using power tools to crate up heavy components.
Assist and monitor in EPA and OSHA compliance and record keeping, including seasonal items like snow removal from exit doors etc.
Perform other tasks as assigned.
Machinery Maintenance Tasks to Include:
Scheduled Oil and grease routine, coolant (top up, replace, inspect), maintain guards and safety equipment.
Beneficial skills:
Computer skills for ordering, shipping and inventory control.
Trouble shoot, repair, or modify electrical and mechanical issues.
Basic machining skills desired for maintenance tasks as needed. Also opportunity for capable individual to assist and cross train into overflow machining.
