Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Baker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, with experience in food preparation and handling. As a Baker, you will be responsible for creating a variety of baked goods, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation. This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a commitment to food safety.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and bake a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and cookies.
• Decorate cakes and other baked goods to meet customer specifications.
• Ensure all baked items are produced according to recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the baking area in compliance with food safety regulations.
• Assist in inventory management by tracking ingredients and supplies needed for baking.
• Provide excellent customer service by interacting with customers and fulfilling special requests.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of baked goods for catering events or restaurant service.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in the food industry, particularly in baking or pastry preparation.
• Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in cake decorating is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with catering operations is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or weekends as needed.

Pay: $13.71 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
