The Guest Experience Associate (Front Desk Associate) at Commons Pizza & Cinnamon Rolls is the heart of our front-of-house team, ensuring every guest has a seamless and welcoming experience. This role includes taking phone and in-person orders, running food, bussing tables, and keeping the space clean and inviting. You’ll be the bridge between our kitchen and guests, helping to create a smooth, efficient, and enjoyable dining experience.

Direct Responsibilities (Summary):

Greeting guests and taking phone and in-person orders with efficiency and accuracy
Running food to tables and ensuring timely service
Bussing tables and maintaining a clean, organized front-of-house space
Assisting with guest inquiries, providing knowledgeable recommendations, and ensuring a positive experience
Managing transactions, processing payments, and handling the checkout counter
Collaborating with the kitchen and service teams to ensure smooth operations
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Some experience in hospitality, food service, or customer-facing roles preferred
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Strong communication skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor
Ability to work on your feet for at least 6 hours, including moving, pulling, carrying, or lifting at least 40 lbs.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Flexible schedule with availability to work nights and weekends as needed
