We have an exciting opportunity for an Ocean Export Agent to join us as our team expands. The Ocean Export Agent is responsible for arranging booking, pick up, documentation, pre-alert, billing and the closing of files as needed to support the Ocean Export Team. The Agent must also ensure and deliver excellent customer service and profitability while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.

The Agent must also ensure and deliver excellent customer service and profitability while meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
The Opportunity
- Handles day to day operations, for Ocean Export
- Tracks and traces export ocean cargo from departure to arrival
- Completes data entry, status reports, and monitors shipment status
- Updates KPI/Data Compliance/invoicing, auto-rating requirements
- Maintains Job Management/profitability.
- Coordinates bookings with carriers and service providers.
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in logistics/freight forwarding industry
- Demonstrated critical thinking, using logic and reasoning to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and risks, and identifying alternative solutions or approaches
- Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Thorough understanding of Ocean Export compliance, regulations and procedures and preference for contract understanding.
- Strong interpersonal/communication skills
