As a Special Education Paraeducator, you will play a crucial role in supporting students with special needs, ensuring they receive the best possible educational experience. Key Responsibilities are :
- Work closely with special education teachers to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs, offering assistance with academic and social skills development.
- Foster a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive behavior and emotional well-being.
- Support students during meals, recess and other non-academic activities.
- Document student progress and communicate effectively with teachers.
- Collaborate with other staff members to ensure a cohesive and effective educational experience for all students.
Qualifications : High School Diploma or equivalent.
