What are the responsibilities and job description for the 2024/2025 SY Paraprofessional (Preschool) position at TOLLESON ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT?
POSITION INFORMATION :
Assist the preschool teacher with classroom activities specifically designed to meet the individual needs of students.
REQUIREMENTS :
Associates of Arts degree or two years of post secondary education (60 credit hours) from an accredited college / university or proof of passing score on ParaPro Test, a valid Level One AZ, IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card, Immunization Record (MMR) and Tuberculosis (TB Test).
RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Presents skills reinforcements or guides independent study activities to individuals or small groups of students as directed by the teacher;
- Familiarizes self with instructional materials to be used and learns how to use them properly;
- Maintains a high level of ethical behavior and confidentiality of information about students;
- Perform duties or requirements that are outlined in a students Individual Education Plan (IEP);
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned by the Principal / Administrator of Special Programs.
