About the Role :
As the Executive Housekeeper your main objective is to ensure the highest level of cleanliness and organization throughout the Tolovana Inn. You will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping operations and ensuring that all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest standards. Your ultimate goal is to create a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests, ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty. You will work closely with the management team to develop and implement housekeeping strategies, policies, and procedures that align with the overall goals of the organization.
Minimum Qualifications :
Proven experience in a housekeeping or related role, preferably in a hotel or resort setting.
Strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures, cleaning techniques, and safety protocols.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality service.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
Preferred Qualifications :
Certification or degree in Hospitality Management or a related field.
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the housekeeping department.
Familiarity with property management systems and other relevant software.
Knowledge of sustainability practices and the ability to implement eco-friendly initiatives.
Ability to speak multiple languages, particularly Spanish, to better serve our diverse staff and guest base.
Responsibilities :
Supervise and manage the housekeeping staff, including hiring, training, and scheduling.
Inspect guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to established standards.
Coordinate with other departments to ensure timely and efficient delivery of housekeeping services.
Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, and ensure their proper usage and storage.
Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping, and take appropriate actions to resolve any issues.

In this role, you will utilize your strong knowledge of housekeeping procedures and cleaning techniques to ensure that all areas of the Tolovana Inn are maintained to the highest standards. Your exceptional attention to detail will be crucial in identifying any areas that require additional cleaning or maintenance. Effective communication and interpersonal skills will be essential in coordinating with other departments and addressing guest requests and complaints. Your organizational and time management skills will be put to use in scheduling and prioritizing tasks for the housekeeping staff. Additionally, your ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team will contribute to a positive and productive work environment.
