Responsibilities:
- Providing training and helping technicians develop diagnostic and repair skills
- Ensuring compliance with regulations affecting service operations
- Creating and managing an employee schedule
- Keeping up to date with manufacturer warranties and policies
- Checking the progress of repairs and service
- Greeting customers and maintaining relationships
- Handling complaints
- Maintaining work records and files
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes
- Follow and help enforce all company safety policies and procedures
- Work remotely and in person with factory BMW Area Managers and BMW Regional Technical Engineers.
Qualifications:
- Prior german vehicle technician experience REQUIRED
- BMW brand experience preferred
- Knowledge of shop equipment
- Strong electrical and mechanical aptitude
- Deadline and detail-oriented
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to operate an automobile with a valid driver's license clean drug screening
