What are the responsibilities and job description for the California Wine Industry Internship position at Tom Eddy Winery?
As a member of our winemaking team, you will be responsible for assisting in the cellar and lab, gaining hands-on experience in winemaking processes. Key responsibilities include:
- Maintaining cleanliness, organization, and sanitation throughout the cellar.
- Operating various pumps and winemaking equipment.
- Setting up and operating harvest equipment properly.
- Transferring wine between tanks and barrel down.
- Cleaning harvest equipment daily.
- Maintaining organized records of grape, juice, and wine analysis.
- Conducting free SO2 analysis (AO method).
- Performing titrations for TA and measuring pH in grape, juice, and wine samples.
