About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual with experience in the graphic design or printing industry to join Tom James Company.
You will be responsible for helping customers by providing product and service information, entering orders, and resolving artwork and technical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints
- Provide information about products and services
- Troubleshoot and resolve product issues and concerns
- Document and update customer records based on interactions
- Develop and maintain a knowledge base of evolving products and services
- Answer incoming calls and route them to specific people as needed
- Check incoming emails and respond to all inquiries
- Receive orders from emails
- Act as a liaison between graphics team and customers to communicate order status and potential changes
- Provide accurate and timely information to customers regarding products, services, and order status
- Assist customers with placing orders and resolving issues or concerns
- Analyze customer needs and recommend suitable solutions or products
- Maintain detailed records of customer interactions and transactions
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform minor graphic design functions
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a related field is preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet
- Proficient computer skills and ability to navigate multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle challenging situations professionally
- Outstanding phone etiquette and active listening skills
- Ability to effectively communicate complex information to customers in a clear and concise manner
- Experience with basic graphic design terminology or knowledge of Photoshop/Illustrator is beneficial but not required
