Job Summary:
Cashiers complete the monetary transaction with customers by scanning and weighing products and accepting money, checks, credit/debit cards, or other form of payment for purchases. Cashiers are responsible for providing excellent customer service and always going above and beyond to “wow” every customer.
Job Responsibilities:
· Operate cash register. Receive and verify all forms of payment.
· Maintain a clean and organized front end, adhering to all health and sanitization standards.
· Provide excellent customer service and ensure transactions are accurate. Ensure that every item is paid for
· Assisting other departments with stocking, signage, pricing, etc during downtime.
· Other duties as they are assigned by store management.
Job Requirements:
· Flexible schedule is a must. weekends, holidays are required.
· Good verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work as part of a team and follow direction.
· Frequent walking and standing with some lifting.
· Accurate and responsible cash handling.
· Basic knowledge of produce for identification purposes.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 per hour
