We are looking for a Project Manager to join our Implementation team to provide exceptional and effective software delivery to our customers. The Project Manager will also use best practices to promote successful execution of external customer projects, ensuring deliverables are met, project risks are assessed, escalations are managed, and strong customer relationships are built.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manage customer-facing projects throughout the implementation lifecycle, ensuring successful and timely delivery.
- Oversee project deliverables, including schedules, milestones, and documentation, to ensure alignment with customer expectations.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, escalating issues as necessary to internal stakeholders.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for external customers, fostering strong relationships and ensuring clear communication.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including consultants, technical specialists, and developers, to achieve project objectives.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure timely coordination with customers.
- Document and track project tasks, milestones, and decisions in McLeod’s systems.
- Ensure all project documentation, including Statements of Work (SOWs), timelines, and action items, are clearly defined and communicated.
- Provide exceptional customer service throughout the implementation process.
- Collaborate with internal teams to refine implementation processes, templates, and tools.
- Stay informed of McLeod product developments and industry trends to better support customers.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 2 years of project management experience; OR no degree with 5-7 years of experience in a Project Management role.
- At least 2 years of experience in software implementation, preferred.
- Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) and its role in project implementation.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to risk management.
- Ability to handle stressful situations professionally and effectively.
- Strong communication skills, capable of conveying complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software tools.
- PMP or CAPM certification is a plus but not required.
