McLeod Software is seeking a Partner Alliances Analyst Intern for our headquarters in Birmingham, AL. The intern will assist the Partner Alliances Analyst on the below listed essential duties and responsibilities, in particular research on technology vendors and market needs. The work will give the intern strong exposure to the TMS (Transportation Management Software) market and technology landscape within the broader supply chain/transportation sector.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- “Aspiring” partners intake – initial due diligence and information gathering
- Funnel management support for new technology entrants into the Transportation industry
- Initial research and outreach support (under met, unmet needs)
- Reporting and Business Intelligence on partners by customers and prospects (including Vendor 360 dashboard)
- Partner revenue tracking and reporting
- Support for planned and proactive periodic meetings with partners
- Supports the VP of Partner Alliance and the Partner Programs Director in our marketing department
- Strategic level evaluation/assessment of partners and offerings (new and existing)
- Market/clients demand research
- Competitive research on integrations and integrated solutions
- Help develop an integration solutions matrix (current and Roadmap based on under met or unmet needs)
- Internal alignment and collaborative decision making while working with our Product, Marketing and Sales teams
- Market support for McLeod’s integration technology framework/architecture
Qualifications:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Data and Data Integrity management skills
Education:
- Currently seeking a bachelor’s degree (Logistics or Supply Chain Management preferred)
