Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Designer to add to our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of design principles, have interior design and kitchen and bath experience, and be proficient in the needed software. The Designer will play a key role in the planning, drafting, and estimating of projects, ensuring details and functionality throughout the design process. At Tom's Cabinets, we strive to withhold our quality and customer service as well as staying up to date with our designs, functionality, and new products. All while maintaining great customer service and a care for our clients. Projects range from residential to light commerical, and new construction to remodels.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for design projects and complete final detailed selections to execute projects.
- Draft drawings and proposals for client approval, ensuring all details are accurately represented
- Work closely with the team to stay on task of customer service expectations
- Stay up to date on products, construction, and design in the industry.
Skills
- Proficiency in CabinetVision and Microsoft Software
- Must be able to multi-task and work closely with others.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a passion for innovative designs that meet functional requirements.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges that arise during the design process.
- Interior Design Experience & Cabinetry Design REQUIRED
Pay is based on experience.
