Job Summary :
The Commercial Installation Lead completes and reviews the installation of heating ventilation and air conditioning equipment safely and satisfactorily at Tom's customers' commercial locations while ensuring quality workmanship. This position provides, and leads team services, on furnaces, air handlers, indoor coils, UV lights, air cleaners, dehumidifiers, outside coils, and outdoor units. This position also works within regulations with refrigerants, txv, and compressors, etc., while working under the supervision of the Commercial Installation Manager and / or the Commercial Installation Supervisor.
Position Duties & Responsibilities :
Installs and leads the installation of heating ventilation, air conditioning, refrigeration equipment, and associated components, while following manufacturers specifications, HVAC regulations / codes and Company requirements.Leads the installation team to be able to troubleshoot and repair basic split units, hanging warehouse heaters, and package units up to fifty tonsPerforms HVAC diagnostics and trains and maintains installation team to be able to complete HVAC diagnostics, as needed.Leads and performs initial start-up on HVAC units and associated accessoriesMaintains and trains team to keep a clean and tidy workspace, both at the customer's site and Tom's shop, where work is conductedFrom interview to last day of employment, ability to pass a 10-panel drug screenContinual ability to pass a background clearance verificationMaintains a neat and clean appearance, during working hoursMaintains vehicle in a clean, organized, and presentable stateCompletes all paperwork accurately, legibly, thoroughly, and timely, including time clock entries.Maintains current TDLR registration and EPA certificationMaintains a valid Texas Driver's License with a continual good driving record and ability to pass our driving record verifications, for insurability purposesDisplays strong work ethic and appropriate behaviorPerforms other related duties, as assignedRequired Skills / Abilities :
