Tom Wood Jaguar, Land Rover, Volvo, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is currently searching for an experienced Parts Counter Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent customer service skills, be detail oriented, and hold a passion for the automotive industry.
Schedule: Full time role; Must be willing to work Saturdays
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in-person and over the phone with their parts inquiries, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Process customer orders, including special orders, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Coordinate with the service department to provide necessary parts for vehicle repairs and maintenance.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock of frequently used parts while minimizing excess inventory.
- Work closely with service technicians to ensure the timely availability of parts for ongoing repairs.
- Maintain accurate records of all parts transactions, including sales, returns, warranties, and core exchanges.
- Comply with dealership policies, procedures, and Toyota standards for parts management and customer service.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a parts counter role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with customers, technicians, and other team members.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage inventory, process orders, and maintain accurate records.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to parts orders, inventory discrepancies, and customer inquiries.
- Required- Valid driver's license with a clean record.
