Tom Wood Toyota located in Whitestown, IN is currently searching for a part-time Parts Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent driving skills, reliability, and a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of deliveries, including pulling parts, daily delivery scheduling, and picking up returns from customers.
- Review and verify invoices for delivery to ensure accuracy.
- Deliver parts to body shops in a safe and timely manner
- Collect payment from shops when required.
- Main a professional appearance.
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and communicating any delivery issues to our customers.
- Handle basic maintenance of the truck, including filling tank with gas, checking oil, keeping it clean, and making sure required inspections are performed.
- Inform the parts manager if the truck needs repaired.
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Required- Hold a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Be capable of lifting and moving boxes of up to 50 lbs.
- Be punctual and have the ability to maintain positive relationships with both customers as well as fellow team members.
- Must be able to drive a large vehicle.
- Have attention to detail and time management skills.
