Job Summary
We are seeking an Ironworker Apprentice to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have some experience in constructing and assembling metal structures, ensuring they meet safety and quality standards. This role requires basic knowledge in various welding techniques and the ability to work collaboratively to deliver high-quality results and should be a quick learner.
Responsibilities
- Assist in build and assemble structural steel fand aluminum frameworks .
- Assist in welding tasks.
- Operate forklifts and other machinery safely and efficiently, but not mandatory.
- Interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements.
- Ensure compliance with industry codes and standards.
- Collaborate with team members to learn and assist to complete projects on time while maintaining high-quality workmanship.
- Utilize tools such as calipers for precise measurements.
Requirements
- NJ Driving license (Class D).
- Ability to learn the duties and responsibilities of an Iron Worker.
- Primary information on steel and aluminum welding and cutting techniques.
- Familiarity with machining processes is a plus.
- Knowledge of building codes and safety standards in an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints effectively.
- Should possess problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor tasks.
- A valid certification in relevant welding techniques is preferred but not mandatory.
