Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Sort and place materials or items on racks or shelves according to organizational standards.
- Assembly, cutting, drilling, and packaging of custom steel support for the Fabrication Department.
- Open boxes, crates, and other containers as needed.
- Seal completed pallets with shrink wrap.
- Remove products from sealed pallets.
- Maintain quality in the warehouse and reported problems to the supervisor.
- Efficiently carry out orders from the supervisor.
- Work in accordance with all safety regulations of the warehouse.
- Assemble products as required at a steady, quick pace.
Skills and specifications:
Basic knowledge of using and operating warehouse machinery and equipment
Ability to efficiently coordinate work with co-workers and management
Physical demands and abilities:
- Regularly required to use hands and fingers, handle to feel, reach with hands and arms
- Must be able to push, pull, and regularly lift and/or move objects 10-50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move
- Frequently required to stand, walk, stoop, kneel, bend, or crouch
- Occasionally required to sit, climb, and balance.
