Full job description
Service Technician will be expected to work cooperatively with our service manager to perform regular maintenance, repair, and troubleshooting of industrial equipment including (but not limited to) air compressors, blowers, dryers, and pumps. Work requires daily travel to customer facilities throughout Ohio to conduct work on permanently installed equipment. This technician would also be expected to assist any repair and custom package fabrication efforts at our Cleveland, OH shop.
Typical Scope of Work
- Equipment Inspection
- Oil & Filter Changes, Greasing
- Various Mechanical Rebuilds/Replacements
- Cleaning
- Troubleshooting Mechanical & Electrical Systems
- Equipment Startup Support & Customer Training
- Interaction with PLC controllers & VFDs
Skills
- Ability to communicate with customers and advise them on service needs
- Work or training on electrical circuits, motor controls and Lock out/ Tag out
- Knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems as well as electric motors
- Experience with industrial air compressors, blowers or pumps is preferred
- Ability to work safely in a group and alone
Starting pay is determined by prior experience and qualifications. Weekend work is a possibility dependent on customer emergency breakdowns or special scheduling, but is not a regularity.
