We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Support Desk Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to end-users, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. This role involves troubleshooting issues, answering inquiries, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Respond to support requests via phone, email, or chat in a timely manner.
- Diagnose and resolve, to the correct support team about technical issues related to hardware, software, and operating systems.
- Provide clear and effective instructions to end-users for issue resolution.
- Maintain and update support documentation to ensure accurate troubleshooting processes.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-level technical teams when necessary.
- Ensure end user satisfaction by offering excellent communication and assistance.
- Assist in software and system installations and updates as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Basic knowledge of computer systems, hardware, and software.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Previous experience in customer service or technical support role is a plus.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to learn new technologies.
Working Conditions/Physical Demands:
- Office and/or server equipment room environment.
- Regular interruptions.
- Small and large group meetings.
- Bending at the waist, kneeling or crouching; climb or balance.
- Eyesight corrected or uncorrected sufficient to read a variety of materials including but not limited to fine print.
- Hearing with or without use of hearing aid(s) sufficient to hear any conversation with others understandable voice and speech patterns.
- Manual dexterity and coordination are sufficient to operate office and/or classroom equipment.
- Sitting, standing and/or walking for extended periods of time.
- Use hands to handle and/or feel; reach with hands and arms.
- Must frequently lift, push, pull or carry up to ten (10) pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.
