Receiving payment for service transactions
- Close service repair orders once vehicle is picked up
- Reconcile credit card payments every evening, and prepare deposit
- Balance cash drawer daily
- Know how to use CDK Drive to process service repair orders, look up repair orders, ect.
Maintaining or creating customer satisfaction
Greeting customers at the cashier window in a pleasant and professional manner
Computing customer bills
Receiving cash, checks and credit card payments from customers; recording amount received
Accepting deposits, completing payments for extending warranties, and handling other purchases
Ringing up sales, bagging items, requesting price checks, honoring coupons, collecting payment, and giving appropriate change
Updating the customer's service history
Calculating materials charges, repair charges, and taxes
Understanding various types of warranties
Furnishing information about the dealership and its services and vehicles
Communicating clearly and courteously, and accurately relaying information about prices, vehicles, and services.
